ICAR-CISH RRS, Malda arranged the live telecast of Honorable Prime Minister address in the National Conclave on Natural Farming on 16.12.2021 for farmers of Malda, W.B.. On the occasion, a Kisan Goshthi cum Farmers Scientist Interface was also organized by the RRS at Habibur Block, Dist- Malda. In this programme, Dr. Antara Das (Scientist), Dr. Shailesh Kumar, SMS (Fisheries Science)and Mr. V.V. Diptikar, Technical Officer interacted with the farmers and farm women and underlined the importance of zero budget natural farming and climate based smart agriculture to enhance the productivity using conventional management practices and avoid or reduce the use of chemical inputs. Afterwards, a live telecast of address of Hon’ble Prime Minister was arranged. About 150 farmers and farm women were benefitted from this interaction meeting and live telecast programme.
